Mazatlan - The birth of the First Active
Adult Community to be completed in México

It all began with a simple question: What would you do if you had this land in this location? Armando Rios immediately replied: "Build an Active Adult Community." Armando and I went to visit one of the most prestigious architects in Mazatlan: Hector Pastor Cruz, to explain the Carefree Mortgage program for foreigners to buy properties in México. We started last February and on Jun 5th, only 4 months later; we were hosting the grand opening of the project to all the realtors in Mazatlan, with the foundations and the sales office completed.

This unique project, in words of the Architect "was planned exclusively for active adults, for people older than 45 and 55 years, able to desire tranquility, look for it and enjoy it. So, after a detailed study we found out a way to meet the lifestyle needs of Active Adults, in order to keep their lifestyle, with the flexibility to adapt the construction to the client's desire. Giving them plenty of choices but keeping the best standards of quality: Bosch appliances, Aran kitchens, all carpentry in cedar, fist class white aluminum, to name a few. Also, we took care of the security in many ways: we built a 40000 gallon fire reserve tank, 2 fire hydrants, firehoses in each floor, exterior fire escape, anti hurricane windows imported from Spain; and we will have 24 hours gated security. Then Armando took the microphone to say: "I've been coming here for 33 years and always said to my friends: 'I will die or retire in Mazatlan and, five years ago I was told that I was going to die in six months so I decided to come here eighteen months ago; and a miracle occurred, and this beautiful city saved me and gave me a lot more. So now that I have the opportunity to work with people like the architect I have the chance to give something in return to Mazatlan, which gives me great pleasure. We believe that with the combination of quality and good prices, the only project exempted by the state of Arizona; include a First American Owners Title Policy in the price, also included in the price two years of Home Owners Association fees; we will make this a unique project and great investment. We are offering great flexibility on the payment options; several mortgage plans for Mexicans with 10% down and foreigners with 20% down. So, we are proudly pioneering the First Active Adult Community in all of México, defining this community as 80% of owners 55 and older and 20% 45 and older; we are hoping to excite you as a future retiree in the tranquility of Mazatlan, its lifestyle and beauty."
